What Happens When I Visit HerKare?
We know that going to a new medical clinic or women’s healthcare provider can feel a little bit intimidating! That’s why HerKare prides ourselves on communication and sharing as much information as possible before you ever visit us. We hope to ease your mind by setting expectations of your first appointment with us whether it’s for women’s health assessment or hormone replacement treatment, aesthetics or general women’s wellness services.
Women’s Wellness Health Assessments
Expect to be greeted with a warm welcome at your first visit to a HerKare location for your women’s wellness health assessment. By choosing HerKare for all your women’s wellness needs, you can feel comfortable and know that you are putting your healthcare needs in the right hands.
First, you’ll be asked to complete a comprehensive women’s health questionnaire to give us a baseline of your current health. We’ll also draw blood for a comprehensive blood panel which will assist us in diagnosing any hormone deficiencies. During this process, we’ll sit down and talk about any symptoms or health concerns that are troubling you. Please ask us absolutely any questions that you have – be honest. We are here to help. If you would like us to complete your annual well woman exam at this first visit, please let us know before your appointment and we will be happy to accommodate you.
Personalized Plans & Hormone Treatments
Next, we’ll schedule a follow up visit for you to review and go over your blood work and lab results. We’ll discuss any recommended or necessary treatment plans and design a customized plan for treatment and prevention. Everything we do is based on you as an individual and we’ll work with you to develop a treatment regimen that is based on your individual needs. As with any new treatment, do your research. Optimization and Prevention
We’ll stay up to date on your progress as your treatment plan progresses. This means getting feedback from you, doing regular labs and using our integrated proprietary technology and apps that will provide you with the best possible treatment and results.
