I went this doctor because I was getting mixed feedback from my primary care dr and my gynecologist. I was told I had PCOS by one then fibroids from another. They made me feel so comfortable and heard her. Turns out I have extremely low vitamin d and b12. It feels great to finally get some answers. My provider, Amy Atkiesson, was very attentive to all of my needs and questions and did a full work up that addressed it all. This place is great!!! I have been coming here for a few years. They have my thyroid on track and no more hot flashes. They always listen to my concerns and are very caring.

I have been going here for a couple of years now. I always feel rushed and not heard when I’m with the nurse. I have never seen a doctor (or been offered to see one) it’s always a nurse that talks with me and she decides what is best for me. I always have to call them for my blood work results. When it’s time for a monthly refill my pharmacist has to call the office several times and when that doesn’t work I have to call them myself.

UPDATE
After posting the above post my experience has greatly improved. I no longer have to call for my blood work. When I come in for my scheduled appointment the nurse and I review my results. We make adjusts to my medication. if needed. The previous issues between Herkare and the pharmacy has not been a problem. The communication between my pharmacy and Herkare has improved so I no longer have to get involved.
I have recommended Herkare to several of my friends and I will continue to do so.

I’m so glad I was referred to Hercare by a coworker . I was going through menopause and the symptoms had me in tears! This awesome place drastically changed my life from the first day I walked in. I sat in that warm, peaceful room feeling hopeless with symptoms for which I had no answers. I was fighting tears in that moment until I met Dania whose smile instantly reassured me (without me knowing how or why). I shared with Dania (Southlake HerKare’s outstanding clinical leader) how tired and irritated I felt on a daily basis with no justifiable reason. Being a gym owner I struggled with weight and injuries with putting all the work in and maintaining good nutrition. My experience: Everyone at the clinic is wonderful. I started my Semaglutide journey in March 2024. As of today I have lost 27lbs. It may not seem like much but slow and steady wins the race...with less saggy skin too. While they don't take insurance I am more than happy to pay out of pocket. I spend 50% less on groceries now, I am healthier and fit in shorts that I couldn't button 4 years ago. I highly recommend HerKare in Southlake. They are the best!
