    Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are an injectable product that can be utilized to fill and smooth deeper crevices and lines around your mouth, eyes and chin. Many women choose to enhance their lips with fillers to smooth lines and restore a plumper, softer lip. Fillers can also help restore volume around your cheeks and jawline. HerKare offers multiple dermal fillers including the Restylane® family of fillers: (Classic, Silk, Lyft, Defyne and Refyne), The Juvederm® family of fillers: (Volbella, Voluma, Vollure, Ultra and Ultra Plus) as well as Radiesse® and Belotero®.

    How long does it last?

Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6-18 months depending on the person and the area treated.

    Kybella®

Kybella is an injectable utilized to help eliminate the fat pocket underneath your chin (or other areas of your body) after consultation with your provider. The main ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, which is naturally occurring in the body, and leads to permanent destruction of specific kinds of fat cells.

How many sessions do I need?

Your provider will give you an estimated number of sessions to achieve your desired results, 2-5 sessions is the average number of sessions needed, but individual results may vary.

    What is the down time?

Swelling under the chin can be present for up to 8 weeks. The majority of swelling normally subsides within 72 hours of treatment.

    Sculptra Aesthetic®

Sculptra is an injectable made up of a bio-degradable solution called poly-L-lactic acid. After Sculptra is injected, it stimulates the collagen in your skin to help restore volume to the treated areas with results that may last up to 2 years. Sculptra usually requires more than one treatment, and you will have the opportunity to discuss frequency and treatment goals during your consultation.

    Does it hurt?
Mild swelling and soreness are common for the first 24-72 hours.

    Where can Sculptra be injected?

Sculptra is usually injected in areas of the face, but it may (after consultation with your provider) also be injected into other areas on the body such as neck, chest, buttocks, knees, and thighs. Discuss your goals with your provider to determine if any of these options may be right for you.
